Wig Care

WASH IT PROPERLY

Synthetic wigs need to be washed every ten to twelve uses (depending on the environment it is being worn in). Before washing your wig, untangle it carefully using your fingers, wide tooth comb or wig brush. "MANE N TAIL" detangeler is an excellent help when detangling wigs! ALWAYS wash your synthetic wig in cold water. Apply your wig shampoo. DO NOT LATHER. Gently work the shampoo throughout the hair. In order to avoid frizz, you can add a bit of a fabric softener to the water. Leave the wig to soak for five minutes and rinse thoroughly. Pat the wig dry. Never wring it. Allow it to air dry while hanging. DO NOT BLOW DRY WHEN WET.

BRUSHING YOUR WIG

If you want your synthetic wig to look as beautiful as natural hair, be smart about brushing, using only your WIG BRUSH or a wide tooth comb. Start brushing from the BOTTOM while holding in a tight grip, carefully going up to the roots. Make sure the wig is completely DRY before brushing. Don’t use hair gel on your synthetic wig. However, water-soluble hair sprays are permitted.

USING HEAT TOOLS

Your wig is heat safe! You can use heat tools up to 320F. However, just like normal hair - the less the better!

DO NOT SLEEP IN YOUR WIG

NEVER, JUST DONT! ;)
